TerraStar

The TerraStar wheel is a patented, molded plastic, soil conditioning device that creates a series of consolidated prow shaped hollows and weir formations of geometrically ordered roughness. It consolidates the soil by applying light pressure to the soil surface in a substantially horizontal direction. It lightly consolidates the outermost surface of the soil which results in reduced soil bulk density and increases water fill pore space.

The primary purpose of the TerraStar is enabling the soil to retain rain water where it falls and consequently reduce erosion, increase water infiltration and provide for multitasking capabilities. It can be attached to most any existing agricultural and horticultural machine and may also be attached to any specially designed machine for use in construction, mining or other situations, and may be fitted to an animal or human powered device.

TerraStar overcomes the problems of existing reservoir tillage systems because of its ease of use, durability, low cost and adaptability.  It is light weight, compatible with universal attachments, self-cleaning, self-consolidating and there are no regulatory issues.  The TerraStar is an innovative technology that truly is the star of TerraManus Technologies.
